Cow dung is dried, ground into a powder, and combined with neem and turmeric. A liquid concoction of gaumutra (cow urine), milk, curd, and ghee is used to mix the ingredients together until it reaches the right consistency.
The mixture is then shaped into diyas (lamps) using hands and left in direct sunlight for two to three days or until all excess moisture has evaporated from them.
Lighting Panchagavya diya is similar to performing a mini homam. Since the entire diya will burn, make sure to light it in a place with plenty of room.
While the diyas are burning, you could sit mindfully sit and shift to a meditative state where your thoughts would be at ease. we have used indigenous cow ghee for batti.
